Challenge Day 1

I got challenged on Facebook and decided to accept the challenge. The challenge was to for 7 days publish a black and white photo each day with scenes from the world around us, everyday views so to speak, with explanations and also each day challenge a friend to do the same.

Day 1's photo is from when the neighboring property was renovated the other year.
