Traditions

We all have our little traditions around the holidays. One of mine this time of year is baking Christmas cupcakes after my very own recipe. I have amused myself today doing just that and now my residence smells delightful from the orange and cloves in the cupcakes.

Shoot Murphy

May I please have permission to shoot that damn Murphy and his law? This evening I was supposed to join some of the other party members for a nice Christmas buffet, instead I'm spending most of the day sitting on the throne with flu. Oh well, there will be more opportunities to meet the guys and gals. At least I have summer memories to enjoy and share with you, like this blossoming thistle.

Winter unfortunately is a time when there's not so much for me to shoot outdoors. You can't take pictures of so many snow things embedded in snow before it gets old.

Little by little

Piece by piece, little by little, Christmas is moving in this weekend. Every year I treat myself to something new in the decorations department, last year it was that darn tree with 105 little lights built in that I hauled up from the basement yesterday and this year it was a little Christmas village (also with lights). Better images will come soon, a little busy getting everything in place at the moment.
