Get wet

Water

The fourth and last leg of the photo contest Scandinavian Photo is holding at Instagram is upon us and this weeks theme is WATER. Competitions like these are fun, you can interpret the theme however you wish and challenges that force you to think outside the box is appreciated.

Unwilling

One thing that's beyond my comprehension is why people who gladly take and post selfies in social medias day and night are totally anti and hide away when a real camera come along. Surely it should be a positive thing to get proper portrait images to post, but no, when a real photographer enters the scene they disappear into thin air just to avoid being photographed.

One such unwilling model is my stepdaughter, on both Instagram and Facebook her selfies are apparent. She's a lovely girl who should welcome the opportunity to get quality images to post. Here's one of the few shots I managed to get of her, even then when she realized that the camera was clicking hid her face.

Sleepless

Every now and then I am having problems sleeping, then I usually turn the puter back on and play around a little with images. Sometimes I fiddle with black and white, like when I turned out this portrait of a most unwilling model that I had to secretly pop a shot or two of before she noticed the cam and hid her face.

Cerise

During summer nature is full of colors, there is no end to it. Although the sweet pea really is an inconspicuous flower it certainly lights up the day with it's multitude of different colors, cerise being just one of them.

Morning dew

All the nice views one get to see when being up and out at the crack of dawn, like the morning dew still on flowers making them even more beautiful...

Grumpy

With a total absence of events to  shoot at least there are kids all over the place to aim the camera at even though they're not always too happy with that darn photo creation machine. This slightly grumpy face tells me that she'd prefer if I pointed the lens in an entirely different direction.
