Expecting the unexpected

One key rule of photography is to always expect the unexpected, ie always have your camera at hand. Arriving at Kallax Airport in Luleå, Sweden, after a visit to the capital I did get a decent headshot of singer Jay Smith who arrived just minutes after me during the Idol arena tour of 2010. Had I not had my camera at hand ready to shoot I would have missed this unexpected opportunity.
